What’s Holding You Back?

Why are you not getting what you want from life?

What’s holding you back from achieving all that you wish for yourself? Some common blocks include:

Fear of Failure:

Do something, regardless of how it may turn out. If you never try, you will forever wonder what could have been.Remember, it’s all about the journey, not the destination.

What-If Syndrome:

If you’re suffering from WIS you will be in a constant state of suspension. Paralysed from making a decision about anything in your life because it may not work out as you have expected.

Stop choosing the worst-case-scenario to keep you locked into a stale life.

Take that first leap forward instead.

Avoiding Conflict:

Whether it’s your siblings, parents, husband or wife, or child, avoiding conflict only leads to resentment and anxiety.

Act now. Keep calm. Discuss the issue. Agree on an action. Stick to it.

You’re Naturally Pessimistic:

If you are suffering from Why-Bother and There’s No Point, then don’t bother to read any further. I mean, why bother if there’s no point? You’re never going to try that new hairstyle or go swimming like you’ve been promising yourself you would do. That would be too much like fun, and enjoying yourself now, wouldn’t it?

Where’s the harm in that, that’s what I say.
